Hi, I'm Lorie Ann Halliday, a professional Tagalog interpreter and translator, and passionate about languages and linguistics. I capture nuances in dialogue between Filipino and English, drawing on two decades of deep engagement with these languages and with the people and cultures that shape them.

I offer professional interpreting services between English and Tagalog (Filipino), and I also speak Cebuano (Bisaya). I provide document translation services from English into Tagalog (Filipino) and Cebuano (Bisaya), with particular attention to nuance, meaning and context.

Based in the United Kingdom, I am a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, verifiable via CIOL Member Check, and I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate. I am committed to delivering clear, accurate and culturally sensitive communication, even in highly confidential or complex settings.

I also have extensive experience teaching Business English, alongside content writing and copy-editing for a range of industries.
